Acdsee program description. ACDSee Ultimate: program overview. Effective digital noise reduction

ACDSee, probably not even an old man, but something more ;-) in the field of working with pictures. The next version of the program, which is at the initial level, i.e. without photoshop functions, does almost anything.

There is no something super new, at least something that would take your breath away, that's why we simply renew ourselves and that's it.

Just in case, the main features of the program:

The list is short, because I am too lazy to write :-)

  • Fast viewing of graphic files of almost all types
  • Watching a video
  • Editing graphic files
  • Batch processing
  • Slide show

Well, a couple dozen more different functions.

Unfortunately, after updating the computer and buying an SSD, I can not objectively assess the performance of the program, but I think it works fine ;-)

Attention!
The installation of the program is provided to you for informational purposes only. All rights to the program belong to its copyright holder. If you have used the software, it is assumed that you are the owner of the license, or uninstall the program after the trial period of its use, usually 30 days.

First, let's define what it is and what this program is for. ACDSee is a file manager in essence, but it is designed to work with images of all existing types and formats. It was created to simplify the work with images, the convenience of their location on hard drives, the convenience of viewing and editing. Those. just this image viewer and photos.

If you already have ACDSee let's see how this program works, if not, install it and follow the same steps. When opening the program to view images and photos, in its main window you will see folders with images already existing on your computer, by default this is the MY DRAWINGS folder with system images.

But you can change this location in the settings, and specify where your images are stored. This can be done by calling the SETTINGS menu, using the Ctrl + O keys, select the CONTROL MODE item in the menu and specify the address to the folder that will be opened in the program when it is loaded.

The left panel of the program is an explorer, in it you can select any folder with images and their thumbnails will immediately appear in the main window of the program, that is, in the middle.

In order to view the image in full size, you just need to double-click on it with the mouse.

To view the next image in full size, you need to turn the mouse wheel or use the Down, Up, Right, Left arrow keys.

If you need to rotate the image, there are buttons below for left-right rotation.

In the right part of the program there is a window in which you can view the data about the image: on which camera the image was taken, what date, year, time, exposure data, etc.

The program is divided into four work areas.

CONTROL (we just talked about it), VIEWING - the area in which you can view the images (if you press the F key in this area, the image will be displayed in full size), PROCESSING - the area is divided into several sections.

CORRECTION, in turn, is also divided into TONE - exposure compensation, white balance, contrast, etc.

DETAILS - Sharpness and noise correction. GEOMETRY - here we can correct lens distortion, rotate and align the image, correct perspective and crop the image.

EDITOR - here you can do with the image such operations as in the previous area (CORRECTION) and many others, such as removing red eyes, reflection, you can enter text, create a watermark, frame, make vignetting, create special effects, and much more ...

The INTERNET workspace is an area where you can create your account and store your photos on the ACDSee server, as well as view the photos of other users. There is one more interesting panel, on it there are such IMPORT functions - you can import images from devices specified in the list.

CHANGE - you can rotate, crop, adjust the image.

CREATE - here you can create a PDF file, slideshow, archive, presentation, burn images to disc, etc.

SLIDESHOW - from here you can start and set up a slideshow.

SEND - from here images can be sent by mail, to an FTP site, etc.

Have a nice work!

By the way, here's how it is created in!

For many years, Adobe Photoshop has been the most powerful, popular and rather expensive bitmap editor, one might say the de facto standard, and all these years the manufacturers of other programs have tried their best to make this very Photoshop no longer needed by users, sometimes successfully, sometimes not very. While they are trying, the word “photoshop” has become a household word - often on the forums you can come across the question “Recommend a good Photoshop for processing photos”, not to mention such concepts as “photoshop the trash can”, “there is solid photoshop”, “better overshopping than neshop "and others.

Indeed, for everyday work with photos in any advanced RAW-converter there are numerous tone editing tools, which often provide more convenient and subtle work than those in Photoshop. For example, the same Color Editor tool can be called one of the best, if not the best in the industry. However, in practice, you still have to use Photoshop for complex retouching with the stamp tool, as well as for working with layers - it is working with layers that is incredibly convenient here and, one might say, brought to perfection. And if a stamp in one form or another is still present in many RAW converters, then full-fledged work with layers has long been the exclusive prerogative of Photoshop.

But everything is changing. ACD Systems International Inc. announced a new comprehensive program for managing and editing digital photos. For the first time for the products of this company, this program allows you to work with layers for advanced image editing. Now users do not have to use expensive programs from other manufacturers (read Adobe Photoshop) to achieve excellent results - both amateur photographers and advanced users can use ACDSee Ultimate 8 to solve all their creative tasks.

ACDSee Ultimate 8 provides the same image management features as ACDSee Pro 8 and ACDSee 18 released in Fall 2014. However, ACDSee Ultimate 8 now supports layering, GPU acceleration for graphics, and 32-bit and 64-bit transparency. New tools provide users with more flexible options for editing images, creating collages, adding text or watermarks, applying various filters and effects, while all this is individual for each layer. ACDSee Ultimate 8 is a standalone application, not an update to ACDSee Pro 8, as one might think, so these two programs can run on the same computer in parallel.

“The photography industry is evolving dynamically and we've noticed that the market needs an easy-to-use photo editor with advanced features,” says Doug Vanderkerhove(Doug Vanderkerkhove), Founder and CEO of ACD Systems. “It is for this purpose that we created ACDSee Ultimate 8. For the first time, our users have the opportunity to advanced, but at the same time intuitive image editing using layers. Our users have always trusted in the quality of ACD Systems products, and now both amateur photographers and advanced graphic designers can achieve amazing results in their work. "

As usual, ACD Systems in its press releases quotes the opinions of various well-known professional photographers who work in ACDSee programs to talk about the benefits of such work and their approach to business:

“I switched to ACDSee Pro a few years ago and is now my main tool for processing RAW and JPEG photos,” says Glen Barrington(Glen Barrington), photographer and ACDSee user. “Before that I worked in a competitor's program, and now I use ACDSee Ultimate, as the new tools for working with layers significantly expand my editing capabilities. I no longer need an additional bitmap editor for complex editing tasks, I can combine different images, apply special effects, and so on, all with a familiar interface that I like to work with. "

In the words of Glen about the fact that he worked in the program of competitors, Adobe Photoshop is read between the lines, but he cannot express himself like that in his interview. But we can: Glen, it was Photoshop, right?

Key features of ACDSee Ultimate 8:

  • The program allows you to create, rearrange, connect layers, manipulate each separate layer
  • Editing a specific area of an image without affecting other areas for more accurate editing
  • Apply filters and effects to layers
  • Applying Pixel Targeting to Layers
  • Adding new images to separate layers to create collages
  • Add text and watermark to a separate layer
  • Transparency support (for 32-bit and 64-bit images)

Price

ACDSee Ultimate 8 will cost $ 150. More information: www.acdsee.com.

Practice in ACDSee Ultimate 8

In connection with the release of ACDSee Ultimate 8, the question arises - why was the functionality for working with layers not included in the ACDSee Pro 8 program? For what purpose did you need to release a crude program, and then immediately create a clone program, but with advanced features? And what should the users who did manage to buy the 8th version do? Recently, out of all 11 innovations in ACDSee Pro 8, only one of the 11 innovations will somehow be useful to professional users (!), While amateurs may be interested in 7. With the release of Ultimate 8 our postulate is confirmed that, most likely, the company's goal is - to release as many similar products as possible: now users are offered two almost identical programs.

Layers should be found in the Edit tab

ACDSee Ultimate 8, like ACDSee Pro 8, offers photographers either non-destructive processing (Develop) or editing (Edit), however, it is in the latter that support for layers is added. The fact that working with layers is a priori non-destructive (that is, the original photo files remain intact) is quite obvious, because in Photoshop, when editing a document that contains layers, the user is forced to save his work as a * .PSD file, although at the very beginning it was created from RAW or JPEG files that remain intact in their places.

The same scheme of work in ACDSee Ultimate 8: if layers were added to the image, then, of course, this image can no longer be saved as a JPEG or TIFF file. Ultimate 8 uses its own file format * .acdc, which after saving will be shown among other photos in the feed as a regular photo. However, you can reopen this file in the Edit tab and continue working with layers.

If you want to save the finished work as a JPEG for publishing on the site or sending by mail, then you need to do a regular export. You can, of course, flatten all the layers and save the work as a JPEG, but in this case, the idea of working with layers breaks down, since later it will not be possible to return to editing the layers.

Transparency as a stumbling block

How to display transparency on a computer screen, and what is transparency? It is clear that we can talk about any transparency only if we can place one object behind another in order to observe parts of the lower one through the transparent areas of the upper one. If there is no bottom layer, and we are working with one single object, then the transparency on the screen is traditionally displayed in the form of white and gray checkerboard squares, this was first applied in Photoshop, the same principle is used in ACDSee Ultimate 8 (it is not clear whether this display method is proprietary technology from Adobe).

Experienced web-masters at the word "transparency" immediately recall the once popular IE6 browser, which did not display transparency in PNG images, and so wanted to use them for website layout. One way or another, transparency is faced by architects and designers who work in 3D modeling programs, video editing operators when they separate the human figure from the green background or work on special effects, graphic designers when developing labels, packaging and other printed products, as well as photo artists. when editing your photos.

As soon as we create an object with transparency, we immediately add a "headache" to our computer - many times more computational operations are required, and both the processor and the video card will be loaded simultaneously. New hardware, new drivers, new programs ... Perhaps the secret of Adobe's programmers is also that they somehow managed to make their program work pretty smartly with transparent layers on 486 computers. Layers first appeared in the fall of 1994 in Adobe Photoshop 3, and it can be argued that it was layers, along with support for the CMYK color model, that made Photoshop the best professional graphics editor at that moment.

It's the last days of the outgoing 2014, and now - ta-da-da-daaam! - In ACDSee Ultimate 8, after 20 years, layers with transparency appeared. Look at the technical requirements for software and hardware - it seems that the program is going to launch a spacecraft to Mars, or at least to the Moon - the technical requirements are the most stringent.

But enough words - let's open the photo in the Edit tab, erase with an eraser some information, for example, the background, and save our work as a * .acdc file. In the photo browser, transparent areas are shown in black, although it would be more logical to show them in white.

If we work with layers, we use transparency in some layers, turn on some layers, turn off some, the program will create a thumbnail based on the information about the visibility of the layers.

Photoshop compatible

Prepare files in Photoshop, open in Ultimate 8

* .PSD compatibility in ACDSee Ultimate 8 partial... Files with layers created in Photoshop can be opened in ACDSee Ultimate 8, however, they will be opened as an image with one layer, that is, all information about the layers will be lost, although the transparency of this layer will be partially preserved. Notice the white border around the object, which is why the transparency is partially retained.

Cooking files in Ultimate 8, opening them in Photoshop

If you open any photo in ACDSee Ultimate 8 and add transparency to only one layer (for example, erase part of the background in the photo), the work can be saved as a * .PSD file, and later edited in the same way in the Edit tab. Transparency will appear black when viewed in a browser, but the semi-transparent areas at the edges of the selection will become rough. When you re-edit in the Edit tab, everything will be fine.

Edit * .acdc, save as * .psd Displaying * .psd in Photo Browser

But when you add a new layer to the same image, the program will no longer allow you to save the work as * .PSD, saving a file with layers is possible only in * .acdc format. In general, we can conclude that compatibility with * .PSD is conditional, and if you work in ACDSee Ultimate 8, then you should use exclusively the proprietary file format of this program.

If you open such a * .PSD in Photoshop, the picture will be sad ... there is only one layer, moreover, flattened:

Editing * .psd Ultimate 8 Opening * .psd in Photoshop

Apply filters and effects to a layer

Duplicate the base layer, apply an effect to it (for example, in the screenshot below, two effects are applied - sepia and vignetting). Here you need to immediately say that the layer in ACDSee Ultimate 8 is not a “smart layer” (Smart Layer), which is in Photoshop. In other words, you will not be able to edit the applied effect, you can only process the effect that was previously processed by another effect, and so on in a circle. I would like to experiment - for each experiment, we duplicate the bottom layer with the original photograph, process it, then turn the layers on and off in turn and choose the best option.

The function of adding watermarks to a separate layer is presented by developers as one of the main features when working with layers. Let's be honest - does a professional need it? Perhaps that is what is needed, but it is necessary in the very last place, when he had already worked on the photograph for several days, did a lot of work, created several options, started all over again, and finally agreed with the customer all his work, after which, at the end like a berry on a cake, I added my signature or logo on a separate layer. In principle, a logo can be added the old-fashioned way, without using layers, nothing terrible would have happened.

Work with text

As well as adding watermarks, you can add free text. This feature is unlikely to be suitable for the design of posters or greeting cards - the font size of the text can be a maximum of 256 (apparently, points). All fonts installed in the system are available, an effect in the form of a shadow, the volume of some special effects can be applied to the inscription. It should be noted that this is not a text layer that can be edited if a mistake is made in a word, but just adding a bitmap caption to the layer, once and for all.

The checkbox "Place text on a separate layer" partly saves the situation - in this case, the inscription can be moved to another place and enlarged / reduced, however, again, it will be not text, and a raster transparent picture in the form of an inscription on a new layer. You won't be able to add a shadow to this inscription. In short, working with text in layers in ACDSee Ultimate 8 is organized at the level of the Paint editor in Windows 3.1. This tool works for creating a small caption in the corner of a photo, but nothing more. After working amazingly with text in Photoshop, working here is unbearably difficult.

Performance

We will consider the pros and cons of ACDSee Ultimate 8 exclusively from the point of view of working with layers, since the program inherited all other functions from ACDSee Pro 8, including all its positive and negative points.

+ Pros

  1. Possibility to work with layers for $ 150 instead of $ 119 / year for a subscription for a special offer for photographers (Photoshop CC and Lightroom) from Adobe.
  2. Finally, after a long silence, a step has been taken towards serious work - with the presence of layers, the Edit tab begins to make sense for professional use.

- Minuses

  1. Saving the results of working with layers in its own * .acdc format, which can only be opened in ACDSee Ultimate 8. The minus is controversial, since any work with layers must still be saved in some form.
  2. Working with text in layers leaves a lot to be desired.
  3. No adjustment layers.
  4. The program is only for Windows, which is a serious disadvantage. Mac owners can only wait for the appearance of such functionality in the version for MacOS.
  5. Serious technical requirements.

Appendix 1. Comparison of Adobe Photoshop and ACDSee Ultimate 8

With the advent of the function of working with layers in ACDSee Ultimate 8, we can compare it with Photoshop, especially since marketers are positioning the program as an alternative to this world-favorite raster editor. Of course, we consider the pros and cons purely from the perspective of the photographer's work.

Pros of Photoshop

  1. Smart layers, the so-called Smart layers, and the huge advantages that they provide, above all, re-editing of the previously applied effect
  2. Adjustment layers - again, re-editing previously made tonal adjustments
  3. Layer groups for the convenience of working with a large number of objects
  4. Advanced possibilities of working with text
  5. Built-in HDR and panorama stitching tools
  6. The presence of a huge number of photo editing plugins: Portreture, Topaz Labs, NIK Software and many others
  7. Preset brush support, create your own brushes
  8. Full integration with other programs of the Creative Cloud package from Adobe: you can easily insert * .psd into any application, you can insert a raster Illustrator document into a * .psd file on a new layer, you can insert * .psd with transparency into the layout of a Premiere video clip, etc. etc.
  9. All kinds of selection tools such as vector paths, smart edge selection, magnetic lasso, magnetic pen, etc.
  10. Content-Aware Scale
  11. Tight integration with Lightroom, a comprehensive offering for photographers - a subscription to Photoshop + Lightroom.

Pros of ACDSee Ultimate 8

  1. Comparatively low price
  2. Low entry threshold, in other words, the program is easier for beginners
  3. One program for cataloging / viewing and editing photos using layers

Appendix 2. Technical requirements for ACDSee Ultimate 8

Final conclusion

The new version of ACDSee Ultimate 8 is equipped with work with layers, it's good, necessary, useful, and it really works. However, professionals are unlikely to give up their familiar and convenient tools in favor of ACDSee Ultimate 8. Too many advantages are offered by the Photoshop + Lightroom bundle, while ACDSee Ultimate 8 does not have a single unique property for which one could give up everything and switch to work with her. On the other hand, for beginners, ACDSee Ultimate 8 is a good option to get acquainted with the basic principles of photo processing, work with layers, and then switch to more serious programs.

Photos today are widely filling the Internet, social networks and many people want to edit them. The graphic design and photo industry are actively developing. In order to correct lighting imperfections, adjust colors, give interesting effects and add decor or lettering, special graphic managers are well suited.

The leader among them is the ACDSee Ultimate program. The commercial package of the ACDSee program has earned recognition from professional artists, photographers and designers, and receives a lot of positive feedback from ordinary users.

Viewing images

ACDSee photo manager is very convenient for viewing, organizing and editing photos and other images. The program supports over a hundred image formats. The built-in sync module allows you to import files from most models of cameras and smartphones, compatible with scanners, printers and MFPs. An important advantage of this program is also a customizable panel for the most requested functions.

ACDSee in Russian with a very convenient intuitive interface allows the user to quickly get used to it. Almost all image manipulations are carried out by pressing the mouse button, moving the cursor and do not require special skills or specific knowledge.

Configuring the program interface

Working with the program is especially convenient due to its extensive settings and flexible interface. The options are available through the context menu and are duplicated as needed on the customizable panel of the main tasks. You can display the necessary tabs in the working area of the program using the "View" menu item.

Tool windows can be enlarged and reduced, placed in arbitrary areas of the workspace, which maximally optimizes the interface for the needs of each user.

File manager

As you can see, the file manager panel is located on the left, the functionality of which is very similar to the usual explorer of the windows system. The panel makes it very easy to find the images and folders you want. It is also possible to copy, move, rename and delete files.

The presence of a multifunctional manager allows you to simultaneously work with a large number of files, not only on the hard disk, but also on removable media.

You will be pleased with the high speed of image indexing; when you open them, you can not only view them right away, but also assign keywords, sort, leave notes and comments.

Photo catalog

The program will help to collect information about all graphic files on the media and catalog them. The sorting type can be changed to the most relevant in each case. This is convenient for organizing a home photo archive and is especially important for those whose professional activity requires the storage and use of a large number of images.

By launching this cataloging function, the program scans the contents of the computer, finds photographs and creates its own catalog from them.

To start cataloging, you need to do the following:

Select the item "File directory" in the "Service" menu

In the window that opens, select the folder with the images that need to be added to the catalog and start cataloging.

Photos in the directory will be sorted by the date they were created by default. You can open the catalog on a separate tab: "Catalog"

Editing images

In the course of the latest updates, the possibilities for working with layers have been expanded. Available their arbitrary movement, connection and editing: the use of various filters and effects, adding watermarks, inscriptions, decorative elements.

Independent settings for any selected area of the image are ideal for correcting them, eliminating artifacts. Such a breadth of manipulation will allow you to create a collage of any complexity, prepare a graphic layout, correct photographs and fully embody any artistic idea.

Additional features of the ACDSee Ultimate package

In addition to viewing and editing images, ACDSee photo manager provides:

  • conversion of image formats, and without loss of quality,
  • archiving and restoring graphic files,
  • formation of libraries from pictures and photographs,
  • slide show show

A bonus of the package is the ability to view video and audio files in the player, however, it has a very modest arsenal of settings compared to most viewers.

You can play audio and video files through the context menu of Windows Explorer, choosing ACDSee as the player.

Besides the main version of the program, a professional package is available: ACDSee pro program. Unlike many common editors, this is a full-fledged image editing manager with a variety of functions.

ACDSee Ultimate is suitable for viewing images, editing and correcting photographs, eliminating their defects. A wide arsenal of functions will come in handy for artistic processing of images and creating collages. This manager is primarily aimed at a professional audience with a variety of tools and capabilities, however, a user-friendly interface will allow even novice users to work with images.

I think one of the most popular ACDSee photo managers (downloads.acdsystems.com/en/acdsee.exe ) does not need any special introduction. However, in spite of the fact that ACDSee is de facto the most famous program for viewing and editing graphic images, the issues of its optimal setting often worry the average user.

The new (eighth) version of the program has improved the work with images (including batch processing), added support for the JPEG 2000 format (viewing and saving) and the RAW format of most of the leading manufacturers of digital cameras (Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta), there is a possibility create slideshows in PDF and Flash formats, and much more. How does this new feature compare to graphic filters or, say, the function of burning photo albums to CD and DVD? Is the app getting harder and heavier from version to version? Many users (including those on numerous forums) tend to argue that the latest editions of ACDSee Photo Manager are too slow. Others advise them to upgrade their computer more often, explaining the program's brakes by outdated technology. Which one is right? Answer: neither the one nor the other, tk. any version of ACDSee can make an excellent sprinter, running briskly not only in stadiums, but also on country roads. :)

In this article, using the eighth version of ACDSee as an example, you will see how to configure the program for maximum performance while maintaining the quality of work at a high level.

Step 1. Setting up the working environment

At first glance, the main ACDSee window may seem overloaded. But after all, no one forbids closing unused panels and placing the necessary interface elements in the way that suits you best. For example, I always close the Task Panel, Search tabs, Favorites tabs, etc. and use the freed space to enlarge the browser area and preview window. Then, using the slider at the top of the browser, I resize the thumbnails. Everything is purely individual, so here I am a bad advisor. Keep in mind, however, that conveniently positioned menus and windows can also increase productivity.

Step 2. Browser configuration

Here we will talk about displaying files in the preview window and in the ACDSee browser, as well as how to speed up work with them.

To customize your browser, select Options from the Tools menu and go to the Browser section. In the Default Start Folder section, you can specify the folder that will open when ACDSee starts (by default, the last opened folder is displayed). This is useful when frequently used images are located in a specific directory. I also usually check the Clear Path History On Exit checkbox so that ACDSee does not remember the folders opened during operation - there is still little sense from this. But this, as they say, is a matter of taste.

Now let's talk about more essential things - the displayed files. By default, ACDSee shows all files in the open folder. But after all, most users only need pictures, and in the midst of such chaos, it can be very difficult to find them. Therefore, it does not hurt to look at the View -> Filters menu (View -> Filters; Alt + I) and in the dialog box that appears, ask ACDSee to show only pictures and folders (Show All Pictures and Show Folders, respectively). If you also enable Show Media Files, then I advise you to go to the settings and in the Preview section uncheck at least one "tick" - from the Autoplay Audio & Video Clips item. In this case, the video, accidentally selected in the browser, will not start, which will save ACDSee from unnecessary brakes, and you - from headaches. If you disable Preview Audio & Video Clips, then in the preview window when you select a multimedia file, only its icon will be displayed. Those. the file will not be played by built-in ACDSee tools. It will also speed up the program, which is what we are actually trying to achieve. And you can listen to music or record CDs and DVDs using other specially designed means. Since we are still in the Preview section, it will not be superfluous to remind once again that the Delay control should be in the extreme left position.

And now we are very close to the thumbnails. In the settings in the File List -> Thumbnails Display section, it is necessary to disable the drop shadow effect and the drawing of the frame for the icons - Show Drop Shadow and Show Image Border, respectively. The rest of the settings in the sections we have reviewed should be left by default. Now let's move on to viewing the graphics.

Step 3. Configuring the viewer

So, to customize the options for viewing images, select the "Options" menu item ("Tools") and go to the Viewer section. In the Decoding & Caching section, the checkboxes must be checked everywhere (by default, they are). The Decode Next Image In Advance option is responsible for preparing for viewing (unpacking) the next picture, and Keep Previous Image In Memory - for storing the previous one. Both options, of course, speed up viewing and, importantly, provide smooth scrolling through pictures, loading them entirely at once. In the Startup Files section, it is recommended to select Images In New Window, which will allow you to open several images in different windows.

You can also not use the sampling algorithms (Resampling Algorithm), which improve the quality of the displayed pictures by reducing the distortions that appear when scaling them (Bicubic and Bilinear), and select Nearest Neighbor - do not apply resampling. However, these actions are justified only if the viewed images are of high resolution and acceptable quality. Otherwise, you cannot do without sampling - it will ripple in the eyes.

Step 4. Working with the database

The ACDSee database stores information about all viewed graphic and other files. Using a database allows you not only to increase browser performance by caching icons, but also to perform various operations on files (search, sorting, etc.). To add the necessary folders with graphics to the database, it is not at all necessary to open them in the ACDSee browser. To do this, just select the Database -> Catalog Files menu and specify the required folders. You can also define directories that will not be entered into the database so as not to clutter it up. This can be, for example, the browser cache. To optimize the database, run the Database -> Optimize Database wizard, which will remove redundant and obsolete information, and, therefore, speed up the operation of the database. To fine-tune the database, you need to use the Database -> Database Maintenance utility.

I have nothing more to add. Let's take a look at the fruits of our labors.

results

As a result, ACDSee 8 Photo Manager is more agile and easier to operate. Are you interested in iron? There is nothing simpler: a motherboard on the i440BX chipset, socket 370 ... Continue further? :) Of course, the eighth version, in comparison with the same sixth, works much faster, but, nevertheless, the results of the actions performed are visible to the naked eye. Setting up older versions of the photo manager is done in the same way.

ACDSee is installed and adjusted, it would be time to work. But more on that next time.
