The battery case is nice and beautiful, but completely impractical. The device is very easy to get dirty and after the first few days of operation it becomes clear that in the future the power bank will become frankly dirty. On the other hand, nothing else can be expected from white plastic.

The cover solves the problem with the soiling of the case, but you should be lucky with its purchase. The rubber cover for Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2C 20000 purchased by us in the online store had a persistent unpleasant odor that did not go away with time. We do not exclude that we were simply unlucky with the seller, but we still consider it necessary to warn readers.

White plastic can get dirty, but is difficult to scratch. For a week of active use of the battery, we did not leave a single noticeable scratch on its case. The manufacturer claims additional resistance to scratches, and it really is. As for the anti-shock properties, we did not have the opportunity to evaluate them. Testing

To evaluate the capabilities of the battery, we conducted a lot of tests by charging various smartphones with Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2C 20000. The first step was to evaluate the capacity of the power bank. This test, given the impressive declared battery capacity, was not easy, however, it was completed within two days. Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2C 20000 was able to charge iPhone 8 with a battery capacity of 1821 mAh, almost seven times from 0 to 100%. On the last charge, the smartphone received 64% of the charge. This means that the power declared by the manufacturer, taking into account the losses during the conversion, is true.

A similar test, a few days after the first, we carried out in the case of iPhone X. As a result, it became known for certain that the effective battery capacity is 14,000 mAh. From it, you should calculate the number of charges of mobile devices that can be performed on one full charge of the power bank.

Now for the charging speed. We drained the iPhone X to 0% and charged it for 60 minutes using the charger that came with the smartphone (not fast charging). After that, we again completely discharged the iPhone X and charged the smartphone through Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2C 20000. In the first case, the charge level was 39%, in the second 38%. We summarize - the speed of normal charging from Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2C 20000 does not differ from the usual one through a socket.

We tested fast charging using Quick Charge 3.0 technology using the Xiaomi Mi 5s smartphone as an example. As in the previous test, we first charged the smartphone from its charger, and then from an external battery. The results were almost identical.

This 20,000 version costs $38, the 16,000 costs about $23, and the 10,000 can be found for $14. Between version 16,000 and version 20,000 there is a one and a half times difference in price, which cannot be said about real capacity. And one more thing that I liked in this model: a plastic case.
